Four ways a sunglasses order goes wrong

The “factory” is a trading company
You pay a middleman’s margin and nobody you talk to controls the production line.

The test report is for a different lens
A genuine EN ISO 12312-1 report on the wrong lens material or category doesn’t cover what you’ll sell.
Our check: every report matched to the lens and category you’re quoted, with the issuing lab and number recorded.
“Polarized” on the listing, not in the lens
It is the easiest claim to make and the one customers notice first.
Our check: the factory rotates a lens against an LCD screen on video, and names its lens supplier in writing.
The MOQ you were quoted isn’t the one you pay

One price, fixed before you start
A first order of 600 pairs at US$7 is US$4,200 before freight. The report is about 7% of that, and it is the part that decides whether the other 93% is money well spent.
If fewer than three factories pass our checks, you get every cent back, plus the notes on why the style is hard to make.
We walk your top factory in person: 30+ photos, video, signed checklist, report within 48 hours.
After the report, only if you want them: sample coordination US$80 a round · order follow-up 6% of FOB, minimum US$200 · pre-shipment inspection at cost + US$40 · freight quoted per shipment.

Questions buyers ask first
Why not find a factory on Alibaba myself?
You can. Many eyewear listings are trading companies, though. To tell one from a real factory you have to read the business licence, see the floor, and match the test report to your lens. That takes time, Chinese and a phone number that gets answered. The checking is what you pay for.
How do I know you’re legitimate?
You pay a registered Hong Kong company, by card or invoice, with a full refund if the work comes up short. We never handle money for your goods. You pay the factory yourself.
Do you take a cut from factories?
We take no payment or markup from a factory. It is in our terms: if we ever do, we refund every fee you have paid us.
Will this make my sunglasses compliant?
We check that each factory holds test reports for your market and that they cover the lens you’re buying, and we tell you what’s missing. As the importer, the declaration of conformity stays yours to sign.
What won’t you source?
Copies of other brands’ designs, ever. We also don’t take prescription eyewear or reading glasses, which are medical devices in the EU and UK, unless your company is already set up for that.
Do you source other eyewear?
Yes. We also source optical frames and fashion or blue-light glasses without prescription lenses. In the EU and UK, optical frames are medical devices, and an eye-protection claim can make other glasses one too, so we take these for brands that already have their registration and authorised representative in place. The factory checks are the same as for sunglasses.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes, before you send anything. Factories see your design only as far as a quotation needs.
